Dracule Mihawk

Dracule "Hawkeye" Mihawk is a fictional pirate from the anime and manga One Piece. He is a Shichibukai and the greatest swordsman in the world.

Appearance

Mihawk wears very decorative, ornate, black-and-red clothing. He wears a wide-brimmed hat decorated with a large plume, a long, black cloak, a cross pendant (which unsheathes a small dagger). a and carries a huge sword.

Personality

Mihawk is possibly one of the most serious characters in One Piece. Though he is the "swordsman above all the world's swordsmen", Mihawk remains grounded. Though he has obviously become jaded regarding the abilities of other swordsmen, he's not unable to recognize talent. In fact, his desire is to see Roronoa Zoro surpass him after having witnessed Zoro's incredible determination and will after their battle. He displays a sense of honor which other Shichibukai who have been introduced thus far seem to lack.

Enemies

In the past Mihawk was also a rival to one of the most powerful pirates in One Piece, Red-Haired Shanks, which also speaks volumes about his power, but ceased their rivalry after losing interest in fighting a one-armed man like him. ^[3] He still has a neutral relationship with the pirate and seems to know how to track him down if he has business with the pirate. He and Shanks do manage to get along, regardless of the fact that the two are opposites in personalities. Shanks is also able to get Mihawk to join in when he threw a party to celebrate Luffy's coming, even when moments beforehand Mihawk had scorned how laid-back Shanks was.

Having lost one rival in Shanks, he now shares a rivalry with Zoro and is prepared to wait to any lengths and fight Zoro at his strongest form. Mihawk seems to be watching out for Zoro's progression and is delighted when Zoro gains his first bounty as well as amused by the Straw Hats' victory over Sir Crocodile.

Mihawk is the strongest swordsman in the world; a monster superior to monsters, as one character calls him. Because of his status and power, defeating him is Roronoa Zoro's ultimate goal.

Mihawk is so strong, in fact, he is accused by some characters, as well as some fans, of having the power of a Devil Fruit; however, in the databooks, his abilities appear to be simply pure skill and power.

Mihawk travels around in a coffin-shaped raft with two green-flamed candles, a single black sail, and a single seat. The fact that he can traverse across the unforgiving oceans, as well as the Grand Line itself, in such a meager craft is yet another testament to his abilities. His first demonstration of power was to defeat Don Krieg's fleet of 50 ships and 5,000 men by himself just before a storm strike.

Weapons

He wields the Black Sword Kokutou Yoru, the strongest Sword in the world. It's an ornately decorated, man-sized (6 feet) sword shaped like a cross with a shiny black blade, which is curved at the end. It also seems to generate otherworldly purple streaks as it slices, as seen when he cut down Zoro and when he split Don Krieg's ship in half.^[5] Yet as well as having the ability to use it to slice up entire fleets of ships, he is graceful with the blade enough to knock bullets and change their course with little effort. ^[6]

The cross pendant worn on his neck is actually a small dagger. Though it appears to have no value, in the hands of Mihawk, it was able to defeat Zoro.^[7]

Ocean Floor Paradise; Fishman Island

explains about Story wise, the concept of Fishman Island was first mentioned in chapter 69, where YosakuJimbei releasing Something terrible to East Blue. Arlong and Jimbei had came from Gyojin Island. Sanji then speculated that the island may be somewhere in the Grand Line, as he dreamed of meeting beautiful mermaids.

Fishman Karate is learned here, as revealed by Oda, in an SBS question.^[1] In the same SBS, Oda also stated that Fishman Island is half-way across the Grand Line. This is meant in the most literal sense as Fishman Island is in fact directly underneath the Red Line.

Later after the Enies Lobby Raid, the Log Pose started to point down, Kokoro, who is a mermaid from Fishman Island, explains that it's an underwater island where fishmen and merfolk live. There is a unique way of going down there.

Location

It is located 10,000 meters under Mariejois, in a giant hole that goes under the Red Line, it serves as an underwater gateway to the New World.

List of Devil Fruit,; Logia Type

Logia-type , These Devil Fruits allow the user to actually become a natural element in its entirety. From the time their abilities are gained, they are neither completely human nor element in their default state. However, Logia users have the option of turning completely into their element at will. Logia fruit abilities are virtually immune to damage unless the special weakness pertaining to that fruit is discovered, or they are caught off guard and do not have time to use their power in time (e.g. When Luffy crashes into Smoker and Portagas D. Ace and they are thrown through multiple walls) or if seastone is used. Logia fruits are also the strongest of the three types of Devil Fruits.

Allows the user to create, absorb, manipulate, and turn into ice. The user can also lower the temperature of another body if he or she maintains contact with it. The user is also immune to hypothermia, frostbite or any other cold-related diseases. "Hiehie" means "chilly".
Yami Yami no Mi	Marshall D. Teach
Allows the user to turn into darkness and control darkness and gravity. The user can absorb objects and attacks and redirect them back at others, either by sucking them into a dark mist which spreads from the user, or into the user's body itself. Because of this, however, he or she takes hits like a normal human. He or she also has the unique ability to nullify the powers of other Devil Fruit users by simply touching them. "Yami" means "Darkness".

List of Devil Fruits, Zoan Type

Zoan-type, fruits allow the user to transform into an animal. This fruit provides three forms: the user's natural form, a full animal form (where the animal's size is often greatly exaggerated), and a hybrid form, combining both original and animal form (usually in a bizarre way). In addition, more forms can be achieved using the "rumble ball", though its effects last only three minutes. These fruits are also the strongest of the three types at close-combat fighting. These fruits cannot give human eaters the ability to talk to animals, although an animal eating the Hito Hito no Mi can talk to humans.

Currently, there are 39 known Devil Fruits. There are no two identical Devil Fruits in the world. There are three different types of Devil Fruits: Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia. There are some unique fact of devil fruit : If the consumer of devil fruit's dead, the fruit will grow again. If one man eats 2 fruits at all, his/her body will torn apart suddenly.

Paramecia Fruits

Paramecia-type, fruits alter the user's body in some way. For example: Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi, which changes the user's body into stretchable rubber; also, Buggy the Clown's Bara Bara no Mi, which gives the user command over splitting apart his own body and controlling the pieces at will. Judging out from the paramecia fruits we have seen so far, it looks like paramecia fruits are shaped like melons.

Allows the user to split his or her body apart and control the pieces at will, also becoming permanently immune to being cut. However, in order to split apart one of the body's limbs must remain grounded, that is act as normal (e.g. Buggy's feet walking on the ground while the other body parts were sent flying towards a target). "Bara" refers to the sound of a knife hitting a cutting board, while "barabara" means "to disconnect".
Sube Sube no Mi (スベスベの実); Slip Slip Fruit	Alvida
Makes the user's body slippery, causing virtually all objects to slide off his or her body, protecting the user completely from harm in most situations. Apparently, the fruit also makes the consumer slim and gives them flawless skin. "Suberu" means "to slip" or "to slide" in Japanese. "Subesube" means "young and sexy" in Japanese.
Bomu Bomu no Mi (ボムボムの実); Bomb Bomb Fruit, Boom Boom Fruit	Mr. 5
Allows the user to make any part of his or her body explode with no harm done to the user; this even applies to hair, mucus, and breath. It also makes him or her permanently immune to explosive attacks.
Kilo Kilo no Mi (キロキロの実); Kilo Kilo Fruit	Miss Valentine
Allows the user to change his or her weight from one to 10,000 kilograms. In the English dub, pounds replace kilograms, despite the fruit name remaining the same.
Hana Hana no Mi (ハナハナの実); Hana Hana Fruit	Nico Robin
Allows the user to bloom pieces of his or her body multiple times from the surface of any object like flowers. However, they can't be formed in areas where there is not enough space, such as inside someone else's body. It has been shown that the user feels any pain directed onto the extra limbs. "Hana" is, in this context, the Japanese word for "bloom".
Doru Doru no Mi (ドルドルの実); Wax Wax Fruit	Mr. 3
Allows the user to tap unlimited amounts of wax from his or her body, and create things from it. When the wax hardens, it is as strong as steel. This ability is not to be confused with a logia power, as the user cannot turn himself into wax, and therefore is not immune to physical attacks. Despite its density, the wax can be melted by fire just like normal wax. "Doru" is derived from "kyandoru", which is a Japanese transliteration of the english word "candle".
Baku Baku no Mi (バクバクの実); Munch Munch Fruit	Wapol
Allows the user to chew through and eat anything he or she wants and subsequently fuse with it. The user can "eat" him or herself, and alter his or her body structure at will. The user's mouth can be enlarged to extreme degrees and break anything. The user can eat things that would be fatal to normal people, including poison. However, the fruit causes the user to be permanently hungry, and he or she must constantly eat to satisfy that hunger. "Baku" is the sound of sheet metal being struck, while "Paku" is the sound of eating. It could also come from the phrase "baku baku tabeteru", which can be likened to "chowing down" in English.
Mane Mane no Mi (マネマネの実); Clone Clone Fruit	Mr. 2 Bon Kurei
Allows the user to turn into anyone he or she has touched. When the user changes, he or she also imitates the copied person's flexibility, strength, etc.[1] and can switch back to his normal state by touching his face with his left hand. The user cannot, however, mimic any Devil Fruit powers the copied person possesses. "Mane" means "imitation" or "mimicry".

Allows the user to grow spikes on any part of his or her body, and turn any body part entirely into a spike. The user can also utilize "toge doping" to greatly increase their muscle mass. The spikes are strong enough to penetrate rock. "Toge" means "spike".

Allows the user to place iron shackles on his or her foes, by having them pass through the user's body parts. "Ori" means "cage".
Bane Bane no Mi (バネバネの実); Coil Coil Fruit,[2]) Spring Spring Fruit	Bellamy
Allows the user to turn his or her limbs into springs. It is unknown whether the rest of the body can be changed as well. "Bane" means "spring".
Noro Noro no Mi (ノロノロの実)	Foxy
Allows the user to emit "Noroma photons", which significantly slow any object he or she strikes down for thirty seconds. Shiny objects, including swords, mirrors, and the like, can reflect the beam. "Noronoro" means "slowly" or "sluggishly".
Doa Doa no Mi (ドアドアの実)	Blueno
Allows the user to create doors on any surface he or she touches, and even through the atmosphere into a pocket dimension. "Doa" is the Japanese pronunciation of "Door".
Awa Awa no Mi (アワアワの実)	Kalifa
Allows the user to emit and control soap suds that can not only clean off dirt but can also "clean off" power, essentially draining one's energy (and leaving them clean and shiny). This ability is not to be confused with a Logia power, as the user cannot turn him or herself into soap and bubbles, and thusly is not immune to physical attacks. Water can counter its effects. "Awa" means "Bubble".
Beri Beri no Mi (ベリベリの実)	Very Good
Allows the user to split into orbs which can can separate and come together as well as bounce. "Beri" means "berries".
Sabi Sabi no Mi (サビサビの実)	Shuu
Allows the user to instantly rust any object. In the anime the user can also rust someone's body. "Sabi" means "Rust".
Shari Shari no Mi (シャリシャリの実)	Sharingu
Allows the user to turn his or her body parts into wheels and rapidly spin them around. "Shari" means "Wheel".
Yomi Yomi no Mi (ヨミヨミの実)	Brook
When the user dies, it brings them back to life. Upon death the spirit is stopped from travelling to the realm of the dead and is instead allowed to locate its body and revive. However, this does not prevent the user's body from decaying in the time the user is searching for his body, hence Brook's skeletal appearance. "Yomi" is short for "Yomigaeru" which means "revive" or "reborn".
Kage Kage no Mi (カゲカゲの実)	Gecko Moria
This gives the user the ability to manifest shadows into a physical form. Their own shadow is impervious to damage and can be manipulated into any shape they wish, and at any given time the user can even switch places with their shadow. The user can also remove the shadows of other people. Their shadows embody that person’s skills and personality and can be used to strengthen a person or even animate corpses. "Kage" means "shadow".
Horo Horo no Mi (ホロホロの実)	Perona
The user can summon ghosts. These ghosts can be used as spies, and certain ghosts can be used to drain all positive emotions and feelings from a person. Others can be used as bombs. The user can also leave their body and use ghostly abilities like flight, passing through solid objects and changing size. "Horo" is the Japanese pronunciation of "hollow".
Suke Suke no Mi (スケスケの実)	Absalom
The user has the ability to turn him or herself, or anything he or she touches, invisible. "Suke" is short for "sukeru", which means "to be transparent" or "to be invisible". It could also refer to "sukebe", which means "pervert".
Nikyu Nikyu no Mi (ニキュニキュの実)	Bartholomew Kuma
The user gains the imprint of paws on his or her hands and allows him or her to repel anything at speeds up to the speed of light. The user can repel not just solid objects and living creatures, but also air and even pain and fatigue, which the user can manifest as paw shaped blobs with various effects. "Nikukyū" is Japanese for the padding of a animals paw.

Eiichiro Oda, The Man behind "One Piece"

Eiichiro Oda or Oda Eiichiro, born January 1, 1975 in Kumamoto, Kumamoto) is a Japanese manga artist, best known as the creator of the manga and anime One Piece. His drawing style is notable for its originality and has influenced Hiro Mashima.

Biography

As a child, Oda was inspired by vikings and aspired to become a manga artist. He later submitted a character named Pandaman for Yudetamago's classic wrestling manga Kinnikuman, who was not only used in a chapter of the manga but would later return as a recurring cameo character in Oda's own works. At the age of 17, he submitted his work "Wanted!" and won several awards, including second place in the coveted Tezuka Award. That got him into a job at the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, where he originally worked as assistant to Shinobu Kaitani's series Suizan Police Gang before moving to Masaya Tokuhiro on Jungle King Tar-chan and Mizu no Tomodachi Kappaman, which gave him an unexpected influence on his artistic style. At the age of 19, he worked as an assistant to Nobuhiro Watsuki on Rurouni Kenshin, before winning the Hop Step Award for new artists. During this time, he drew two pirate-themed one-shot stories, called "Romance Dawn", which would debut in Monthly and Weekly Jump in late 1996-early 1997. In 1997, One Piece appeared for the first time in Weekly Shonen Jump and promptly became one of the most popular manga in Japan. His biggest influence is Akira Toriyama, creator of Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump. They have also made a one-shot called Cross Epoch, a crossover containing characters from both Dragon Ball and One Piece.

Pandaman, the mysterious character

If you're an one piece mania, you must have seen this guy, PANDAMAN. Pandaman is a joke character created by the author, Eiichirō Oda, whose appearance is that of a muscle bound figure with a panda face for a head (whether this is a mask or his real face remains to be seen). He makes numerous background appearances throughout the series for the viewer to try and spot.

Pandaman was originally created for the book 77 Mysteries of Kinnikuman. He originated from Tibet and age is unknown. He is 200 cm (6'6") tall, weighs 122kg (270 lbs), and has a Super Power Rating of 3,300,000. His mortal blow techniques: Bamboo Leaf Panda Drop and Giant Panda Deathlock. His Explanation: Abandoned in a bamboo thicket as an infant, Panda Man was raised by Giant Pandas. He is an Akuma Chōjin who resolved to become strong because when he told people he had seen Kaguya-Hime, they did not believe him and picked on him. (Kaguyahime was a princess who was found inside a bamboo stump, according to Japanese legends.)

According to Oda, Pandaman is a rich guy living on a certain island. He is often seen in the same panel as one of the Tomato Gang, a debt collector on the lookout for Pandaman, trying to collect the money Pandaman owes (which is why Pandaman is often seen running away on appearances).

Pandaman's bounty is revealed to be at least more than 3,333,333 berries during the Anime Filler Arc Ice Hunter on Episode 326, as Kanpaccino's hand blocks the entire number.

In a recent Japanese Fan Poll, Pandaman is currently ranked the 31st most popular character in One Piece.

One Piece : The Three Great Powers; Yonkou

The Yonkou, literally Four Emperors are the four most powerful pirates in the second half of Grand Line. According to Monkey D. Garp, these "Four Emperors" rule above all others and form a precarious balance with the Shichibukai and Marine Headquarters. The Yonkou are not an actual organization, as each pirate works to further his own ends. The World Government considers the four pirates so powerful, that a potential alliance between Whitebeard and Shanks is enough to send them into a panic.

Whitebeard (Edward Newgate)

Edward Newgate a.k.a Whitebeard a.k.a Shirohige is widely regarded as the world's strongest pirate in the One Piece world. According to Buggy the Clown, he is the pirate closest to obtaining the legendary treasure, One Piece. Whitebeard clashed with the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, and was considered his equal in combat.He first appears when Red-Haired Pirate Crew member Rockstar delivers a letter from Shanks. Whitebeard tears up the letter without reading it, which angers Rockstar, but he is told by Shanks not to worry about it, as it's no big deal. When Whitebeard is next seen, Shanks has broken a Navy blockade and boarded his ship. They have a brief conversation regarding Blackbeard and the two pirates then clash, splitting the clouds above them when their swords connect. Newgate regards anyone in his crew as his 'son' and he sees himself as something of a father figure, his crew even refer to him as their 'father'.

"Red Haired" Shanks

Shanks is Monkey D. Luffy's childhood hero and a former member of Gol D. Roger's Crew. Despite having few appearances, he plays a major role in the series. Shanks has three scars across his left eye, inflicted in a battle with Blackbeard. Shanks is missing his left arm, which he lost while saving Luffy from a Sea King. Shanks and his crew are almost always seen partying and drinking alcoholic beverages whenever they make an appearance as the Captain's favourite pastimes are attending and hosting parties and banquets. Shanks' fighting abilities are formidable; he was considered a rival of Mihawk prior to losing his arm, and he regularly clashed with Whitebeard's crew while serving under Gol D. Roger. His monsterous "spiritual intent" is so great that junior members of the Whitebeard crew pass out by merely being in his presence.When he was still an apprentice he and Buggy the Clown worked on the same ship, although they were big rivals and disagreed on everything.

One Piece : The three great powers unveiled

On Comic One Piece part #431, Luffy’s grandfather, Monkey D. Garp (He's a vice admiral of the Marines too) said that there are three great powers that keep the balance of the "One Piece"world.
They are the Marines, Shichibukai (Seven Sea Warlords), and Yonkou (Four Emperors). Here’s the explained :

#1 Shichibukai (The Seven Warlords of the Sea)

The Shichibukai are seven extremely powerful former pirates who have allied themselves with the World Government, hunting down pirates and other criminals considered threats and handing over a large fraction of captured bounties. In return for these actions, the World Government pardons these pirates for their crimes and freeze their bounties. Other pirates consider the Shichibukai to be "government dogs", however. The Shichibukai are granted large deals of autonomy, often going unsupervised for long period of time, and are not guaranteed to follow the World Government's orders, rarely ever showing up for meetings. The World Government tolerates these actions, however, to mantain order over the One Piece world.

Dracule Mihawk a.k.a "Hawk-Eye" Mihawk is the first of the Shichibukai to be introduced and plays a major role as Roronoa Zoro’s ultimate goal. He appears first while the Straw Hat crew are at the Baratie, having pursued Don Krieg's armada from the Grand Line. Mihawk destroys Krieg's only remaining ship for the sake of his amusement. Roronoa Zoro challenges Mihawk but loses against Mihawk's 4-inch knife. Leaving Zoro with a huge scar on the front of his torso, Mihawk tells him he will await the day when Zoro can surpass his ability. Mihawk is next seen with Red-Haired Shanks on an island in the Grand Line, delivering Monkey D. Luffy's wanted poster, much to Shanks' delight. Mihawk's most recent appearance in the series has been a meeting between the World Government and the Shichibukai to discuss the Straw Hat Pirates, where it is implied that he has the worst attendance record of all the Shichibukai.

Donquixote Doflamingo

Doflamingo first appears in One Piece Chapter 234, during a meeting between the Shichibukai and high-ranking World Government officials, where he attempts to pick a fight with Supreme Admiral Sengoku. Doflamingo then appears in Mock Town to punish Bellamy for dishonoring his former flag. He displays an ability to control others using movements similar to a puppeteer, and forces Sarquiss to seemingly kill Bellamy

Bartholomew Kuma

• Former Bounty: 296,000,000 Beli

  

"Kuma" means "bear" in Japanese. Like Doflamingo, his first appearance is at the government summit of Mariejoa following Sir Crocodile's defeat in Alabasta. He is next seen at Thriller Bark, where he offers Gecko Moria his aid in defeating the Straw Hat Crew. According to Gecko Moria, Kuma is the only Shichibukai truly obedient to the World Government. Kuma possesses the power of the Nikyuu Nikyuu no Mi, one of many fictional Devil Fruits in One Piece. This fruit gives him the ability to repel or reflect anything he touches with his hands. He is also a "Pacifista", an experimental cyborg created by the Marine scientist Doctor Vegapunk.

Gecko Moria

Gecko Moria first appears in One Piece Chapter 449, as the captain of the enormous ship Thriller Bark. He is extremely large and has a devil-like appearance, but is also exceptionally lazy. This is reflected by his fighting style, as he prefers to lay back and let his own shadow, Doppelman, fight his battles for him. Moria ate the fictional Devil Fruit Kage Kage no Mi (Shadow Shadow Fruit), giving him control over his own shadow as well as the ability to steal the shadows of others. Moria can place a stolen shadow into a corpse, creating a zombie that is totally obedient to him. Moria fought on the same level as the Yonkou Kaidou, but his crew was slaughtered some time before the current story. This results in Moria's desire to create an army of zombies to fight for him, as they cannot be killed without the aid of salt.

Jimbei

Jimbei is the former captain of the Fishmen Pirates, which split up after he became a Shichibukai. Arlong became captain of some of the former members of his crew. He has not made an appearance in the story so far.

Marshall D. Teach

Marshall D. Teach a.k.a Blackbeard a.k.a Kurohige) is a former member of the Whitebeard Pirates, who left after killing the commander of Whitebeard's fourth division. His ultimate goal is to become pirate king^[2], like many other pirates in the Grand Line. Teach spent decade

s with Whitebeard's crew for the express purpose of finding the Yami Yami no Mi^[3]. When Fourth Division Commander Thatch found the Devil Fruit he desired, Teach killed him without hesitation, claiming the fruits powers for his own.^[4] The Yami Yami no Mi grants Teach the ability to create and control gravity fields, represented as a flowing "darkness". Teach can use the gravity to absorb matter and energy, to draw in opponents from a distance and can

also eject absorbed matter in a violent explosion. The most terrifying aspect of the powers granted by the Yami Yami no Mi is the ability to nullify other Devil Fruit powers through physical contact with the user. Even users of the Logia Devil Fruit type, normally invulnerable to attacks, can

be harmed in this manner. Although the Yami Yami no Mi is a Logia type, Teach does not ha

ve the ability to transform

into his element like other Logia type users. Likewise, he can not avoid damage like other Logia users, and in fact takes more damage due to the nature of his power^[5]. Teach's physical abilities are substantial even without the aid of his Devil Fruit; he is responsible for the three scars that cross Red-Haired Shanks' eye. He's the replacement for Sir Crocodile.

Sir Crocodile first appears in One Piece Chapter 126 during a phone conversation with

Sanji, when he refers to himself as Mr. Prince. He is the leader of Baroque Works, a secret organization of assassins and spies, and a member of the Shichibukai. Utilizing Baroque Works, he incites rebellion in the kingdom of Alabasta in order to gain access to the Poneglyph hidden beneath the palace. He believes it will reveal the location of the weapon Pluton, which Crocodile wishes to gain control of in order to establish his military power. He is defeated by Monkey D. Luffy and stripped of his Shichibukai status by the World Government, after which he is imprisoned. Crocodile ate the Devil Fruit Suna Suna no Mi (Sand Sand Fruit) which allows him to create, manipulate, absorb, and transform into sand. Crocodile mastered the Devil Fruit powers to the point of perfection where he can turn into sand reflexively if attacked and while in a Desert area his powers make him unbeatable. He wears a tough golden alloy hook on his left hand. When golden part of the hook is taken off, it reveals to be a hook loaded with poison strong enough to melt through rock. If this poisonus hook is ever broken off, he has a knife hidden away in it that can be used in its place. According to series creator Eiichiro Oda, Crocodile's bounty would have been more than twice its value if he wasn't a Shichibukai.

One week ago, i and my friends went to a normal-horrible place in the park : Mirror House. After in, we tried to find the way to the out. But, we were surrounded by mirror, and it was very dark. It just used an ultraviolet lamp. In there, we were surprised, anything colored white was shining! My friend said "If your hat and his clothes are shining, how about my underwear? I wanna check it".
